Tutorial: Navigation

Open the track list.

Open the track you want to follow.

Choose the track color and direction of travel. The red dot represents the starting point and the black dot represents the finishing point.

Move the page to the left – here you can see more information about the track.

'Show in map' opens the map and shows this track.

Center the map. Now the map will follow your position.

Align the map to your compass. The map will always point in the same direction as your device.

Open Data View.

Here you can see the compass and a yellow arrow which will always point in the direction of your track. When you leave it, it will guide you back.

On the last page in Data View you can see the remaining track length along the track. In addition, the remaining ascent/descent in meters is also displayed.

Alternatively, you can also navigate to a stopover or a destination directly.

Move the map to mark your desired destination.

Choose 'Waypoints' from the toolbox.

Tap 'Use as destination'.

Now, a black & white line will connect your position with the destination.

The same icon is displayed in the compass which always lets you know the direction in which your destination lies.

On the last page in Data View you can find the distance remaining and height difference compared to your destination.

When you want to navigate to a stopover first, simply place one.

Again, move the map to the desired location.

In the waypoint menu choose 'New waypoint'.

Tap 'Stopover' then 'Save'.

Back in the map, your black & white line will now guide you from your position to the stopover and then to the destination.

On the compass you will now also find a waypoint icon for the stopover.

The distance to the stopover is calculated on the last page in Data View.

When you reach the stopover, simply tap on it in the map and then select 'Stopover off'. The line will then guide you from your current position to your destination again.
